The Gixxer is a 155cc air-cooled motor. The single-cylinder unit belts out 14.8PS at 8, 000rpm and 14Nm at 6, 000rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Performance of the motorcycle is impressive as the powerplant is refined and is easy revving by nature.
The gear ratios ha ve been well distributed while the transmission works like a charm. Riding dynamics of the Gixxer is sporty yet comfortable with the flat wide handle bar and mildly rear-set foot pegs. The diamond type frame and chunky rear section tyre makes the bike a hoot to ride around corners with fantastic feedback from the chassis. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and monoshock unit at the rear that offer supple ride quality. Braking is done by disc brake at front and drum brake at the back which do a decent job but better feedback from the lever would have been welcome.
The Suzuki Gixxer returned us an overall mileage of 50kmpl which is decent.the Gixxer has to be the best all-round 150cc motorcycle on sale currently
