Honest review about Suzuki Gixxer 155 naked. Review on Suzuki Gixxer

Hi guys, first I want to tell you that I am not so matured in bike world.

I was having first hero passion, I didnt really liked that bike because lack of power n pickup. I was not knowing that time that 100cc bikes gives only average and not pickup. Then I bought bajaj avenger 220 after using passion for 2 years, My friends suggested me to buy avenger 200 for more pickup n power. But still it was a cruiser and later after buying I came to know that cruisers dont have pickup like sport bikes. So again I sold avenger in just 1.2 years. Then the big mahabharat started in my house and my mom told me to get out of her house. Then after some how I convinced my mom and I bought gixxer155 naked in december 2015 and completed till now 1020kms without servicing. I didnt get time to service, I have to first service it now. Really good pickup when you are single, but with pillion you need to give little more accelaration for power. Its pickup n power is not like pulsar150 dtsi. Pulsar150dtsi pickup n power is really really awesome with pillion also but in gixxer with pillion, pickup is not so good. I had already drove my friend's pulsar 150dtsi.

GIXXER 155 PROS AND CONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

PROS:

1. engine is refined with nice exhaust sound

   
   




2. comfortable on long rides as well as in traffic. I went with pillion from mumbai to raigad and returned with no back pain isues.

   
   




3. digital cluster is really awesome, it shows digital clock, rpm, kms, indicator lights and the most nice thing is rpm blink white light when you goes above the set rpm.

   
   




4. milaege is good enough.

   
   




5. pickup and power is good not awesome like pulsar150dtsi, but still better than fz-v2.

   
   




6. tyres are tubeless and nice grip, I never felt like I am falling while cornering.

   
   




7. design looks are ohh my god. I fall in love. I have black.

   
   




8. great suspensions.

   
   

Cons:

1. When we have to kick start we need to close foot stand. What exactly that called the word I dont know.

   
   




2. Pickup and power is not like pulsar 150dtsi. Which I really wanted. Pulsar150dtsi has 15bhp and gixxer has 14.6bhp.

   
   




3. with pillion I dont feel power.

   
   




4. pillion rider will always hammer you because its not comfortable for pillion. Only your girl friend will sit with you because she wants you. lol.

   
   

I rejected pulsar 150 dtsi and bought gixxer 155 because gixxer gives below list which pulsar dont have it as per my thinking:
