I own an old unicorn. Having proved its reliability I went to HONDA showroom at Velachery, chennai to purchase the new dazzler or the proven Unicorn. One of their staff said a minimum of 45 to 50 days is the waiting time. An other staff said minimum of 60 days waiting time for both Unicorn and dazzler. When I asked him that the other person said it was 45 days, he replied by saying that, OH OK then it is 45 days. Such is their commitment to customer service. Lethargic staff. Having heard of suzuki, I went to a suzuki showroom . They were ready to give me a bike within 24 hours. I was thrilled.
The very first look spoke of its sturdiness and I was not disappointed when I drove it for the first time. Beleive me it is the merc of bikes. The digital console is excellent. There are no vibrations. And the bike just wants to go faster and smoother. Amazing and awesome. The balance is perfect unlike honda which is very light. This bike has more finesse than a honda which is full of vibrations and noises from the tail and fork and that is something that never gets corrected in a honda.
Suzuki had no vibrations, no loose parts, I could hardly hear the engine noise. Too perfect is the word. I am afraid to give it for the first service, you know why, because only after the first service half the trouble starts. I am sure there are guys who agree with me. Just joking I will definitely service it.
Anyway thank you honda, just because you add a disc brake to your rear wheels makes no difference. I am happy I found a better bike than honda unicorn.
