We booked this place at the last minute. The owner Mr. DevenSrivastava is a sweet spoken person and was flexible enough to accommodate us.
The place has got nice “village” feel where Mrs. and Mr. Srivastavatakes care of the premises. Mr. Srivastava seems to have good knowledge ofhorticulture. The farm fields are well maintained. The place is spacious. Mr.Srivasatava gives good tour of the fields also.
The rooms are made of mud and are decently maintained withvery basic bathroom facilities. Therooms are good though its highly doubtful that they can be used for wedding anniversaryas mentioned on https://surjivan.com.
They provide very basic sports/games kit, but I wouldsuggest you carry your own along.
The speed breaker along the way (which will definitely touchthe car) will give you a feeling of getting into a village.
Food taste is ok and is different for sure. The food was notprepared with appropriate hygiene. During the dinner I spotted a maggot (lut inhindi) in my brinjal (baingun sabji) .Also again during the lunch I could see a dead fly in the kadhi and a rubberband in raita. You can imagine the rest. Drinking water was also not too clean –Basically the whole food part was bad.
They offer two packages Deluxe (Rs. 4000 per night percouple) and Standard(Rs.3000 per night per couple), deluxe has better foodoptions where as standard has basic and limited food. The menu does not have foodchoices, one is suppose to pick the standard/deluxe lunch/dinner. So actuallyrent + buying food could cost more and one should pick up the package.
Overall – It was not a bad place if food was better.
