I've been using Surf laundry detergent for many, many years. It cleaned just fine and was very reasonable. I could buy a very large box for $12.00. It lasts me all month. May, 2003, they came out with a changed product. I noticed it now has ''All stain lifters.'' I had just bought new, high quality mauve towels at J. C. Penny for $7.00 each, a lot of them. The first load contained one of them and it faded to a faint fuchsia. I was mad, so mad I brought the box right back for a refund. I will never buy Surf again. I will really miss you my old friend, Surf. I have a feeling ''All'' bought them out or something. Anybody know what happened?
