Script: Sura is a saviour and god for the people of slums who live their lives by fishing. Sura is also a fisherman and everything for the people. The minister wants their land and sura objects, what happens next is to be watched?
Execution: Interesting plot but its always predictable. As usual our hero captures the loot of ministers and make his dream come real. Well nothing interesting to say here. Just time pass.
Direction: Direction was seen reflecting good in parts. But since the story is weak direction has no role this one.
Screenplay: with a faint story screenplay is important to keep the viewers intact. Screenplay here is good in first half and looks dull in 2nd half.
Casting: Vijay is good in acting. But he is been wasted here. There is a key role for him in the movie. But the predictable carry over effect was seen here. Only glamour songs and action sequences are good by Vijay. He doesn't hunt like a shark.
He is not dangerous here. Just a waste of selecting such a plot. Tamanna is also wasted. No main role for her. Vadivelu is good in comedy. Dev gill is a neat villain.
Rest characters filled up the space well.
Technical values: music by Manisharma is waste. For people who watched Telugu billa. They feel a boring riot., for others it may be interesting. Background score is dull and seen in billa" (Telugu) version. Editing is bad. When seriousness picks up, vadivelu comes and destroys the mood of the story.
Comedy in between action scenes and important scenes is a bad idea, vfx is not there much. Some visual effects are present in action sequences and doesn't leave a mark. Rest departments are average.
Production values: with a budget of nearly 30 crores one would expect a lot. But I think due to waste of money on sets and songs movie has been marked a waste.
Entertainment value: story is not interesting. Neither is the scenes. Vadivelu may save the disgrace and give some relief but the pain will continue.
Final analysis: weak story and bad execution and utterly wasted talent of Vijay makes Sura a disaster.
