Remember that Radio Ad Song... "SuperVasmol 33 kaysh kaalaa ..." I started using it when I was at a Village while on tour as the small shop there was not offering any other Hair Dye and had a lot of free time to pamper myself.
At first I did not read the Manual supplied in the pack and repeatedly tried it , keeping it on hair for about an hour but in vain. Then I realized it doesn't work that way and I have to leave it hair for several hours preferably overnight.
When I tried it this way , the hair was not black enough util the application was done three to four times and it then that it was realized that this Oldie believes in Slow and Steady.
The following are the Advantages I Observed as a user :
Slow Coloring ensures you can control the color of hair gradually and not sudden un natural Blackening as in Other imported brands and even Godrej.
Pitch Black hair is avoided as above.
The hair thickning which initially makes hair feel rough that happens with modern Dyes doesnot happen here.
The skin near hair doesnot turn black once you wipe it with cotton. In other brands the dark skin near hair advertizes that you used hair dye a day or two before.
Application on mustache also doesnot make you un comfortable unlike other brands perhaps due to absence of Peroxide and Ammonia.
The Obvious disadvantage is that you cannot use a white pillow cover and a black cloth and a seperate towel for this purpose will be handy. Also as the product is oil based the oily look will remain until wash and multiple shampooing is recommended.
As the Liquid gradually darkens and left in effective on repeated exposures to atmosphere, I recommend you better buy the smallest size (50 Ml) and use it up fully for 3-4 applications.
Black and Brown colors are available. Also you can get Mehendi and cream formats which I have not tried.
