If one were to name someone whose films have been releasing by the week, the names of Aftab Shivdasani and Amisha Patel will be foremost on the list. The couple has been giving several releases in the past few months, but that much-sought after hit still continues to evade them. Let’s see if Suno Sasurji can turn the charts their way… After being the obsessed and sick youngster in Vikram Bhatt’s Kasoor and the crazy lover boy in Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai, looks like Aftab has indeed decided to take a break.

After having to endure similar fate with her releases, Amisha too has decided to join the fun batch. While both of them are taking a break, let’s sit back and watch them chill out in Vimil Kumar’s next comedy Suno Sasurji. Comedy Baadshah Kader Khan has indeed vouched for Aftab’s hidden talent of executing comedy with great élan and panache. The whole industry is abuzz with Aftab’s newfound forte in the art of acting. Adding much fervour to the hot dish is Amisha, who according to industry sources has put up her comical best. The movie is about a banker (Kader Khan). Khan is a shrewd banker and willing to help anyone who’s ready to do business on his terms and conditions. He pays a massive 25 per cent interest rate to those who deposit money with him…but only after 25 years. As if this is not enough he especially tracks down investors who may kick the bucket anytime, so that the 25years funda can never be achieved. But everything goes helter-skelter when one investor’s grandson (Aftab) pops up to claim his grandfather’s share of returns. His grandfather had deposited money with Kader Khan before leaving for the heavenly abodes. In the process, Aftab meets and falls in love with Amisha, the banker’s dazzling daughter.

While Kader Khan is a stingy stink, his beloved daughter cannot think of anything else other than squandering. Even though her father is deeply agonized by her spendthrift attitude, our urban honey is not interested in curbing her extravagance. No doubt the script promises to be an out and out laugh riot, it’s lweft to be seen if all that glitters is gold???!!! Watch out this space!
