The menu at Sunny's is quite expansive and will cater to most taste buds. My friend and I started with a plate of sushi. We ordered the salmon maki, which was quite tasty, though it probably won't appease the true sushi lovers. The quantity of salmon in the roll was quite small and the salmon itself was cooked completely through, as opposed to the raw or very lightly cooked fish that usually finds its way into a maki roll. The rice was well cooked though and the grains did not stick together, and rightly so.
The highlight of our meal was my friend's main, the chicken breast with goat's cheese and prosciutto. The chicken breast was stuffed with melted goat's cheese and wrapped in prosciutto. The prosciutto added a hit of salt to the dish, the pasta was well-cooked and the sauce had a lovely creaminess and a light curry-like flavour to it; a spoonful of the dish with all the different elements was an explosion of complementary flavours in my mouth. One of my favourite chicken dishes.
The service was quick and waiters were friendly. So overall it is a great place for a quiet relaxing meal and some good food, though I would've liked it to be slightly more pocket-friendly.
