Having been fed up to the bone with superfluous descriptions of this place from a couple of people, I thought I'd just haul myself there and find out what the big deal was all about.
We got there quite early for lunch considering the kind of crowd these people are probably used to. This could probably be the reason why one of the staff politely asked us if we would like to shift our table to one of the more shadowy corners of the floor. In case this was indeed this reason, I can't imagine anything more rude or obnoxious.
Anyway, we ordered a deep fried zucchini starter and the portions resembled pigeon-feed.
Next, we went with a pasta which was extremely ordinary and unremarkable.I also ordered a plate of salmon sushi which I found rather nice. And I think we went with a creme brulee for dessert which was pleasant.
The whopper of a bill at the end didn't really do much justice to the overall experience.
