The song goes as "The missing SUNDAY......". I think it should have
been "The missing story........". Picture this, Ayesha Takia plays
Sehar, a dubbing artist!!! Please someone teach her to modulate her
voice a bit.
Ajay Devgan plays ACP Rajveer, a dishonest cop whose marriage is fixed
with Sehar. Seher goes a disco on saturday where someone gives her a
date pill. She wakes up on monday not remembering anything about the
previous day. And suddenly she is one day short in her life. Now,
wherever she goes, she is followed by a taxi driver (played by
Arshad Warsi) who wants her to give him his 420 rupees (bad joke) and
by goondas who want to kill her. She takes help from ACP Rajveer who
tries to piece together her missing day. A lot of mindless and
unattractive songs and sequences later, you suddenly do not have the
desire to want to know what happened on SUNDAY.
The ending is mindbogglingly dumb, which reminded me of the kind of
endings Scooby Doo cartoons used to have.
The only saving grace of the movie was the duo of Arshad Warsi and
Irrfan Khan.
After the movie, I wanted to know what happened to my 3 hours.
