Well a few months back I signed up for SUN TV HD service. If only I had waited a week I wud have gone for Tata Sky HD.It all stared by early July when Sun TVs satellites got busted due to a technical snag in Insat 1 C in which Sun TV has its transponders. For about four days its complete black out. And then they restored partial service. The customer support is lousy and like a parrot they keep singing the same song-" the service will be restored soon". But even till now, its not and none of the HD customers who had paid lofty money- RS 10K for the service have been informed when they will get all the HD channels. Their Facebook page also gone bust with no intimation on the disruption of services.
Right now they offer only Discover and Nat Geo HD and in the name of HD Service they keep repeating the same old Telugu and Tamil HD movies and songs.
It is pointless criticizing on them..as no educated person will deal with people like Sun HD and SUN DTH in general. I have decided to opt out the moment by subscription gets over.
I leave it to you friends..you decide..if you are toying with the idea of going for HD DTH. Do not do the mistake I did.
PS: I feel India is ages behind in HD Broadcasting and I heard even now most news channels use small handycams to file their reports. And in this scenario I think HD in India will take many many years to mature.
