So, what's your sun sign ?. Review on Sun Signs - Linda Goodman

I laid my hands on this book when I was fifteen years old and since then, the second question I ask people whom I meet is ?What?s your sun sign ?? It always works and is a sure shot way of making friends instantly. So I?ll give you my impressions about Linda Goodman?s writings of each sun sign in order. Tell me if you agree and in your comments, please your sun signs behind too : )

Aries

The book describes Ariens to be very friendly and open-hearted and I agree. I find Ariens to be the nicest people. They have such an innocence about them. They make great friends and forgive and forget very easily. Aries men are amazingly masculine looking (Ajay Devgan) and Aries women can look absolutely deadly and gorgeous (Lisa Ray).

Taurus

Taureans are described as very solid, practical and reliable. But look out for their tempers. Once they are angry, they can be childishly tactless and can create a storm. I agree with this description whole heartedly since I have seen a few taureans losing their tempers ! I can never, ever forget those scenes. Taurean men have those all-male looks while taurean women (Madhuri Dixit) are so utterly beautiful and feminine.

Gemini

Careful here. Because yours truly is also a Gemini. I hate the way Linda has ripped apart Geminis. According to the lady, all geminis are big flirts and totally unreliable, unpredictable clowns. They cannot work on a task for long since they are busy jumping from one place to another and they change their love lives constantly. Hello ! I am a Gemini too and am consistent as a rock (OK, I am exaggerating a bit, but I am not as bad as Linda says either). Gemini women are the most stunning women on earth (Ahem !). Please forgive the writer?s leeway ! But be very careful with Gemini men : They can break your heart in a matter of seconds.

Cancer

Linda finds them emotional cry-babies, unsure and insecure, trembling masses of humanity. I disagree here. I know very confident, happy-go-lucky cancerians who are able to rebel against the whole world and come out as winners. Cancer men can be oh-so-charming (Tom Cruise) and the women are so feminine and womanly (Karisma Kapoor).

Leo

Ok. Linda is right here. Leos are just as she describes them. All leos I know are proud, arrogant and have large hearts. They are great fun to be with and love to hear compliments day and night.The leo men look very regal (Suniel Shetty) and similarly, the leo women have a royal bearing about them (Kajol, Manisha Koirala, Sridevi).

Virgo

Virgos are described as very neat and tidy, organized and perfect to the last detail. However, I usually find virgos to be very friendly, talkative and boisterous, unlike Linda?s description of them being serious and sober. Virgo women are simply ethereal looking (Kareena, Mahima) and most Virgo men are extremely suave and handsome (Akshay Kumar, Vivek Oberoi).

Libra

I love the way librans strive to be balanced and refined in everything they do and say. However, they have great leadership qualities and almost always succeed in their jobs. Librans are very polite, have great manners and are perpetually in love. Libran men are amazingly stylish and suave (Amitabh Bachchan). And the Libran women (Rekha, Hema Malini) have invented beauty.

Scorpio

Linda describes scorpions perfectly. They are passionate, emotional and determined. You have to be cautious in dealing with them. They do nothing in half measures. Either they will love you with a passion or they will hate you with a vengeance. They work really hard. Scorpio men are very magnetic (Shahrukh Khan, Kamal Hassan) and Scorpio women look very sensual (Aishwarya, Sushmita, Celina, Mallika Sherawat and Zeenat). I have a friend who is a scorpio and we have this intense, amazing relationship.

Saggitarius

Saggitarians are as adorable as teddy bears. They can be great fun to be with and it?s laughter all the way if you have a saggittarian friend. Yes ! I agree with Ms. Goodman here. A word of caution : They can be so brutally honest so that you will have to be very brave around them (Shekhar Suman, Shatrughan Sinha, Govinda). They can be very witty and have showman-like qualities (Raj Kapoor). Saggittarian men have a maverick-like and unconventional air about them which makes them look very attractive and the women are very child-like and innocent (Dia Mirza).

Capricorn

Linda describes Capricorns absolutely perfectly. They are hard working, quiet, reserved and silent. They can look very boring to a Gemini like me who needs constant action all the time. However, Capricorns are very reliable and sincere. They can make great employees and work the hardest amongst everybody. Capricorn men are really handsome (Rajesh Khanna, Salman Khan, Kabir Bedi) and the women have an earthy, girl-next-door charm about them (Sonali Bendre, Nagma)

Aquarius

I adore these crazy fellows. But then who doesn?t ? They have a unique way of looking at everything and can redefine just anything in the world. They care a hoot for traditions and can make their own rules and live by them happily. Aquarian men can sweep any woman off her pretty feet (John Abraham, Jackie Shroff) and the women are really, really lovely (Preity Zinta, Urmila).

Pisces

Linda describes them as intuitive, sensitive, wise and perceptive. If you have a pisces friend, you can confide in her/him any time of the day. You can be sure that they will listen to you and advise you accurately. They can lose focus sometimes and can be very vague sometimes. Pisces men (Fardeen Khan) can be dreamily handsome and the women are so feminine, so fragile and so delicate (Pooja Bhatt, Bhagyashree).
