When I became pregnant with our 4th child I had to quit work due to a difficult pregnancy. So we had to go on an even tighter budget than before. I had been spending about $40.00 a month on Gain detergent and decided to try a less expensive brand. My mother told me to try Sun since she had started using it and was very happy with its results.
I have tried other off brands of detergent before and was never very happy with the results. My 3 girls are very hard on clothes and tend to attract dirt no matter how hard they try to stay clean. I bought Sun to give it a try and paid $5.00 for a box that claims to have 95 loads worth of detergent. I was very suprised when our clothes came out just as clean as when I used one of the leading brands. They also smelled great.
My husband works on heavy machinery and his clothes are always cover in black thick greese so I have to wash his seperate from ours. I was amazed that Sun even worked on his work clothes just as well as any other brand.
I have even used Sun to wash some of my newborns clothes and it has worked great and does't seem to bother his skin at all. So based on that I would have to say that it's good for sensitive skin.
The great thing about it is that I am saving about $300.00 dollars a year by buying Sun instead of a leading brand. I don't know about you but there are a bunch of things I can use an extra $300.00 dollars for.
It has a color safe bleach added in so that also helps get your clothes cleaner and without having to add something else to your laundry. So this detergent is good for all kinds of colors and materials.
My children had been able to clean their room very quickly over the summer so they could go out and play and I discover why when I decided to go through their clothes to see what we needed for school. They have 2 closets in their room one of which goes back in the side to our hall closet where I store Christmas decorations. Since I don't open this closet very often I didn't see where all their clothes had been vanishing to until then. So I was left with clothes that had been stuffed in there and left over a 6 week period stains and all. I really had my doubts that they would come clean but I used Sun and some shout on the really bad stains and they came out great.
I would recommend Sun to anyone who wants clean clothes and to save money at the same time.
