Hi,


I have been a sun direct customer since one and a half years. It was going pretty smooth till there was a satellite change some time back. I was receiving a message on the TV saying that the technician will come and fix the dish and reprogram it. The channels I used to get reduced in number and at last only the message was displayed.


The technician did not come. I called them and they kept on assuring that the technician will come and they denied to give the technicians phone number. Atlast I found the method to reprogram the device on internet myself and fixed the issue. I paid for two months for displaying the message that technician will come. Weird isnt it?


I had one more connection in my office on which I was confused about the reprogramming and I contacted the customer care. They gave me the number of a technician. The technician was ready to come if I pay him Rs 200. I was promised it is a free of cost thing from sun direct. As a reply technician told me that Sun Direct is not paying the money so they are charging from customer for the service. I worked on it for couple of hours and got it fixed.


After some days my home device stopped working and I found that its not detecting the card. Again the efficient customer service. They told me to rub the card clean and insert it. I told I already tried it and its not working. What he said was real funny. You keep on doing this for several times and it will connect some time or other. I told what him to go for the option if it does not work like that. Then he registered a complaint and days passed no call back. Now I am going for another service provider


Those who are going for sun direct please please be sure that you are going to regret. The worst service I have ever seen. Illiterate and ignorant support staff. It seems they are cheating the customers as well as the people they have contracted for servicing the device. Only positive thing is that I am good at adjusting the dish and reprogramming the set top box now. GOOD BYE SUN inDIRECT.
