Had booked Airtel DTH online on August 10, 2019. But to my surprise the local agent called & informed that my residential area(Hulimavu in BLR) is Cable TV operator domination area & hence can't install Airtel DTH. However referred his friend who can do the same for extra money, who demanded for Rs.1200 extra for Airtel & suggested can fix Sun direct DTH for Rs.500 extra than online price & thereby agreed for same. Exactly an year ago on August 15, 2020 installed Sun DTH.
However right after 5 months, for even slight breeze the DTH stopped working & then realised that the antenna fixed on the apartment terrace was rusted. So complained the same to the guys who fixed it, who asked to contact customer service of DTH. Sun direct DTH informed in March'20 that due to lock down they would replace the antenna post lock down & upon requesting in June again asked to pay Rs.650 towards antenna replacing charges, as it doesn't have any warranty.
