It is a small area like our matheran and mount abu types.
famous for its beaches and massages by the ppl there. it is reco for ppl staying in malaysia and singapore (singapore esp as indo rupaih is very cheap compared to singapore dollars). very close to singapore ( 30 minutes by boat). these place are therefore flocked by singaporeeans for a short holidays.
singaporeans have just 8 days Casual leave and no other leave like PL. they have SL thou. these singaporeans use saturday and sunday for a quick break from routine to batam and bintan.
if u are going from india then there are two great places there. one is tioman beach in malaysia and bali in indonasia.
also u can finish batam and bitam in max 3 days. whereas tioman beach and bali each require minimum 5 days.
