Sultan could be a better movie. Review on Sultan

People are singing songs for the Movie Sultan because they feel it is a movie of Salman Khan and that is the whole problem with this movie. I agree that Salman is a big dashing hero and the story is based on a care-free person who became a wrestler after his so called girl friend has motivated him to do so marriage and the differences in their married life but the story and presentation of the movie is found wanting at different occasions. The editing of the movie has left much to be desired.

We knew all the way with Muslim characters played by Salman and Anushka the movie sloted to be released on the occasion of Ramzan Id the Eid-ul-Fitar everyone knew a particular community will flock the theaters and the movie released on 5500 screens worldwide was already considered a big hit for a long time.

But I was expecting a better deal to cine-goers as some of its shooting was done in western UP and surrounding areas as the hero is playing the role of a wrestler from Haryana. However, there is a serious question being asked whether the movie has the same influence on audience what they felt after watching Bajarangi Bhaijan or Veer.

The story line of Sultan evolves round Salman Khan all the way with Anushka playing a second fiddle to him whom he meets and asks her to marry him.  What a funny idea that Salman decides to become a wrestler and later going out of control and gives up for nothing. Haryana and Haryanvi  is seriously missing from the movie which could be its USP.

Overall, my impression was that as if I watched another Salman Khan movie which has nothing much to offer a person like me.
