A compelling story. Review on Sultan

First I straightforwardly tell you one thing, Sultan is not just a masala movie, it's a movie which will give you a goosebumps and gives you positive vibes to strive and achieve your dream. Sultan(Salman Khan) is an inspirational story and people from different walks of life can relate to it.

Sultan is a story of an ordinary man who become extraordinary when he gets hurt in love. Before wrestler Sultan is just a normal man who wants enjoy life in small things and happy in his own world until he met Arfa( Anushka Sharma), who is a state level wrestling champion and focused towards her goal i.e. to win the gold medal in Olympics.

Sultan met Arfa accidentally while chasing kite with friends to win a bet and the moment he sees her he fell for her. Love at first sight. Though he lost the bet with friends but now he is only concerned to meet Arfa again. He tries to find way to meet Arfa and somehow he managed and tried to woo her heart but she rejects him initially.

But Sultan tried hard to woo her heart by joining her father's Akhada, he impresses her but only as a friend. They started hanging out each other and Sultan misunderstood her friendship and introduced to his friends as a girlfriend which makes Arfa furious and he insulted Sultan by slapping him in front of his friends and tells him that he doesn't deserve her because she is a state gold medalist champion and he is nothing in comparison to her stature.

He felt humiliated and got the purpose of his life and now he wanted to become a state level champion. He challenged her father to become a state champion in upcoming state wrestling championship.

After enough hard work of one month he challenged the wrestlers of her father's Akhada and defeated all of them, Arfa's father got impressed by his fighting style and sent him for state level championship. Sultan defeated the wrestlers of his weight group and to pursuit of becoming a great wrestler he challenges double heavy weight wrestler. The wrestling federation get shock and Arfa's father and Arfa got shock too and they tried to talk to him but he was adamant to change his mind and remain firm on his stand.

Sultan defeated him as well and they got married happily. Sultan finally won the gold medal in Olympics as well but he lost his relation with Arfa because of miscarriage.

The story of Sultan is about how he achieve something from wrestling and how he lost something because of wrestling and again emerge as a fighter, to prove his redemption.

The story is literally tight and keeps the audience in it's grip. All the actors of the film have done a phenomenal job. Sultan writer and director Ali Abbas Zafar literally done a commendable job. Literally hats off.
