Now thats what I call a thriller!. Review on Suicide Kings Movie

The recipe for Suicide Kings is just perfect: A cup of each: Usual Suspects, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs - throw in some classic comic punchlines - and Vola! A movie worth watching again and again even once you know the suspense. This is a MUST see, MUST have movie. A fast ride packed with thrills, suspense and humor.

The story revolves around a bunch of friends, rich, spoilt brats. Avery's (Henry Thomas) sister gets kidnapped and a ransom is set. But no cash to pay! So, Avery and gang kidnap a mobster, Charlie (Bartolucci), now leading a changed life, or so we are made to believe. They kidnap him and taken him to their friend Ira's house (Johnny Galecki) , a young uptight guy, who provides comic relief to the otherwise tense thriller. What follows next is a series of tense encounters and situations, typical of a suspense thriller. There is a mole amongst the captors and Charlie knows it. He starts playing mind games with his kidnappers. As the plot unfolds, the suspense becomes tighter. Anyone and everyone is a suspect in this flick! Scenes to watch are the one's with Dennis Leary (Charlie's right-hand man) and his friend, especially, the ''fish boot'' jokes. Then there's Ira, forever nervous and conscious that its his fathers house, where all the action is taking place. He really steels the show here. Sean Patrick Flannery (of ''Powder'' fame), Jeremy Sisto and Jay Mohr are the other friends. Whats distinct about this film besides the plot and suspense is that each character is very well defined, with a purpose and played to the point by the respective actors. The direction is slick and overall flow of the movie is fast paced. Highly recommended to any suspense/thriller buff!
