Classroom coaching or correspondence course ???

As with most cases, the answer is: It depends.

It depends on what works for you. I will (or can) only give you the pros and cons of the two. Some people like to and are used to study alone in a quiet room while for some, the classroom environment works well. In a classroom, you can directly interact with the professor and students and get your doubts cleared. You can also get to know how other guys are preparing and know where you stand in the crowd. But you may also get influenced or carried away by the crowd. So there is a fine line between group study and herd mentality.

If you choose to study on your own:

Congratulations !!! You are my type. You save your time and energy not travelling a few km to the coaching class daily. You can study what you feel like, can prepare your own study plan and follow it, no matter the how fast or slow your professor is. But you might get frustrated when some ''funda'' isn't clear to you and there's nobody to help you out. These days, most correspondence courses allow you to write to the professors and get your doubts solved. With the advent of IT, you may even email the institute and get some help. (for example, career launcher) In my days, (do I sound like a typical old man?) these facilities weren't available, so everyday I would wait for the postman to bring some ''light''.

I would suggest that you study on your own. After all, how far in life are these coaching classes gonna help you?
