I work at a local college, and the only choice for dining on campus is Subway, so I eat there often. Subway isn't my top restaurant pick, but it's my only option.
Like most other Subway restaurants, the one where I work is mostly decorated in bright yellow. When I think of Subway, I always think ''yellow.'' Even the tables and seats are yellow. They usually have a few pictures hanging around, but the decorations are usually sparse.
Subway only offers submarine sandwiches, but there is a large variety to choose from. They have cold sandwiches made with deli meats like ham, turkey, salami, and roast beef. They also offer hot subs like pizza, meatball, and chicken teriyaki; however, if you would prefer a cold sandwich heated, they are always willing to stick it in the microwave a few minutes.
They usually have at least 4 different types of bread to choose from, and they come 6'' or 12''. The sandwiches are made fresh as they are ordered. First, the meat and cheese are added, then toppings of your choice are added as you continue through the line. Toppings include lettuce, tomato, banana peppers, onions, olives, and more. They also have oils, spices and other condiments available. They have a variety of chips and cookies available to complete the meal, as well as unlimited refills on drinks if you dine in. Most subs are reasonably priced at $3-$5 US dollars.
Subway is a fairly good place to go for variety. Most people can find something to eat here whether it's a deli sub, hot pizza sub, or vegetarian sandwich. It is always fresh and prepared in front of you. With reasonable prices and fresh sandwiches, I'd have to recommend Subway to others.
