The great Subway diet is one that Opera made quite famous on her show (or so I heard). The Subway's subs come in two sizes - 6" and 12". The 6" is not enough and 12" is too much. Run by the Pink Papaya Group in Chennai, Subway makes an ideal meal every now and then.
The subs are filled with a meat of your choice and abundant vegetables. IF you are willing to look beyond the fact that it fills you up mainly due to the vegetables and bread - you feel better that you are eating a healty meal.
The restaurant is plain and practical. It is clean and I would give it about 4 for cleanliness. once in a while there are a few flies buzzing around.
The staff know their food, and are courteous and do extend a helping hand. Staff rating is 4.
The food quality - mainly due to fresh vegetables is excellent and I give it a 5.
Value for money is a tad on the low side- with a meal for one working out to about 136 (non veg sub, ice tea and chips). So its not something one would indulge in everyday, but does help break the monotony of regular food.
So overall I would give it a good rating.
