I bought a Su - Kam inverter from Unique trading co. in Noida on 1st April 2007.
I had been having problems with the machine from day 1, like low back up, battery water drying up in almost a week, frequent issue with the fuse etc. Till date I've called up there service centre atleast 15 times to report different issues.
On 24th August'08 I caled them again to report my problem for which the engineer came on 25th and told me that this battery is dead and need to be changed.
The battery is under warranty for 18 months from the date of purchase, however their service incharge for Noida and Gaziabad has told me that this battery cannot be replaced because the date of manufacturing for the battery is September'06 and there is some hidden clause about warranty which only the dealer is aware of, which surely is not my fault.
Till date I've made atleast 75+ calls to various senior people in Sukam's Gurgaon office, but nobody is able to resolve this problem. As a customer I am feeling cheated and neglected.
The current power situation in Noida has added to my woes and the situation is so bad that every day I have to spend atleast 3-4 hours in my car to calm my 2 year old son who is just not able to tolerate the heat.
Overall its a bad product and the service is pathetic.
