Studies Abroad Vs/ Studies in India

Studies Abroad is something, which I will recommend strongly for all those who can afford it. If you have the resources and means, don't give it a second thought just take the plunge.

1. It develops you as a person:

Studying in a place with a different geographical n climatic conditions and a strikingly different culture; where you will need to constantly make adjustments with not one but a number of differences that you come across will develop you as a real strong person. You will be prepared to face all the possible worseness that life flings on you.

2. Knowledge and experience:

Studying Abroad will not just increase your knowledge as per the syllabus or curriculum but will influence you thinking, your outlook towards world and dealing with your problems.

This experience is something, which cannot be compared with many years of studies in ones own country.

3. Makes you do things you would have never ever thought of doing before:

Guys who thought that they can never broom or cook in their own houses start to keep their rented apartments clean (Lest they will have to pay the fine) and cook for themselves (lest they will have to starve of hunger or spend the valuable cash on food). They learn to wash and iron their own clothes and that's the first step in getting rid of mumma's pet baby syndrome. They get to grow up as a man!!:)))

4. Highly Competitive Atmosphere

You'll be placed under a highly competitive atmosphere, where you just have to shine out of the cult. You are not awarded degrees on basis of your caste color or creed, its your intelligence and competency which is noted. You will also be competing for most wanted financial aids, scholarships, Teaching Assistantships and Research Assistantships etc

5. Most importantly -- it provides the much needed freedom

Girls, who were brought up under the shade of their parents, feel a breath of fresh air in the newly found freedom and freak out during their college years in another country. Same for guys too.

6. Part Time Jobs--

To support your college you will HAVEto take up some on campus or off campus job. Managing your limited finances, struggling to study and work part time, shelving some money for entertainment, all this makes you a good money manager.

This quality couldn't be achieved while studying in ones own country where for shortage of cash you have your parents to fall back on.

7. Extremely Good job prospects and a High Salary--

When you graduate from a good University (Accredited one) your job prospects increase manifold. Many get call letters before they complete their studies. If you have done an MBA abroad, the world is at your feet. AND I WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND J)))
