If you guys happen to live in Mumbai and are interested in books a wee bit also, you should never, never, never miss the STRAND BOOK STALL mega SALE.
This sale is really mad, it is actually the first ever sale which has genuinely cut down prices of books by 40% to 80%.
I happened to be there on a Sunday and it looked like STRAND was giving away books for free. People were thronging all counters with shopping baskets in their hands. Whats most amazing at the sale is the vast variety that STRAND has to offer. Name the topic and the book is there for you.
Art and creative people will never manage to find books of the quality at STRAND at such amazing prices. I bet even if you enter the sale with 10, 000 rupees you still will be short of cash.
To get there is very easy. It is very near to Churchgate Railway station. People whose eyes have lit up, u better rush for the sale is only till 7th Feb.
