I think the Agarwals of the Sterlite are really growing at a great pace. They are really on road to becoming a large metals producer of the country.
They have successfully won the final bidding of Hindustan Zinc. They already are a prominent force in the Aluminium industry though Balco, Malco, etc. They also have a great presence in copper with Sterlite Copper.
They have now expressed their interest in Hindustan Copper. I think in all probability they will acquire the stake divested by the Government.
That will make a truly integrated metals producer in the country. Their presence across the globe is also important as they own mines in Australia, Armenia and have operations in Atlanta, London, etc.
I think they are on road to become the next Ambanis and I wish them all success in the future.
