We visited Yercaud on 22nd May 2013. We were four in a family that included an infant. Road from Bangalore to Yercaud was good.. I had booked the room through Makemytrip.com. We stayed there for 2N/3D. The stay was great and the staffs were very friendly.
The room had a small kitchen with an oven and a kettle. The bathroom had all modern amenities and was very clean. Food was excellent (vegetarian). View from the room was awesome.
The only disadvantage that there are many steps. Climbing up and getting down is tiresome. Lift work is going on and we got to know that it'll be ready in 3 months.
For aged people it'll be difficult to climb up and get down the stairs. Overall, the stay was good.
