The moment you step into any of SBI Branches you can feel the low energies around you. When I had to go to this branch of JP Nagar, Bangalore for a simple cash deposit, the scene was not like I had seen in other banks - I saw one lady who is suppose to be some manager, yelling at a customer.
The biggest line I have seen in any of the banks and the line never seem to be moving. The "May I help you" lady was busy in number of calls.
I was asked to take a token for my transaction and my token number was suppose to come after hrs together. When I reached back to branch after half an hr, I found that, they were actually not dealing token wise with customers so I approached cash deposit counter, as soon as this lady sees me coming, she puts a closed board on the window.
I had to deposit money in an account which is in different branch of SBI. This lady asks me to take green card which is suppose to charge Rs.20 and when I fill the form she asks me to come again after half an hr. I ended up spending my half a day in doing a simple cash deposit.
I can't believe we are dealing with such banks which leave no stone un-turned to make your banking experience horrible.
I ended up going to my other bank and depositing the money back with the same account with a promise to never ever visit this branch again.
