This is the second time I am writing review for this useless bank. About a week ago I faced again a frustrating situation with this bank employees that now I have decided to never open any account nor will have any product of it in my whole life.
In today's time when everything is getting online it is so hard to take an off from office just to get open bank accounts for minors and wife. I did a week ago and had a very painful experience.
I am talking about Vasundhara, Ghaziabad, SBI branch.
The lady sitting at the account opening section seems always confused and unable to handle multiple requests at the same time. I didn't know what time she comes to bank but she wasn't on her seat till 11 AM. Till that time there was a huge line. Now when my turn came I asked that I need 3 account opening forms, 2 for minor and 1 for my wife. She immediately said that forms have finished as of now. Then after some time she gave 3 forms with so many different pages for KYC, under guardian for minors.
Then I asked her please let me know what all items I have to fill in for the minors account and she told fill everything. She wants me to leave the counter ASAP and fill the form for myself.
I tried my best to fill all forms, pasted photos and then again went to counter, only to find that she is not there as it is 1:30 PM and it is lunch time. At 2:30 PM she came back and I asked her again to kindly check if the form is filled correctly and the she made me come again and again for 4 times at the counter every time telling only 1 thing.
My kids were hungry by then and I have to look after them too. So I asked one more time if anything is left in the form to be filled by my wife and she said now it is all done. So I took my wife and kids to home and came back immediately to submit the form.
After again looking at the form she told me that there is one item pending and that has to be get signed by my wife. I was shocked.
After hurling alot of abuses to her and venting my frustration on her I walked out of the bank and burnt all the forms and decided, never go to any other SBI branch in future.
This episode made my BP high as my whole day got wasted and bank account was still not opened.
I was wondering how could these people open zero balance account of poor in "pradhanmantri jan dhan yojna" when they tortured me like this.
Will be watching GOOD GOVERNANCE in this bank.
