I am a government employer since 2005. I am bounded to open my salary account on SBI to get all the benefits of a government employer. The bank is, I must say rubbish in the regard of public dealing clerks. You cannot get your work done easily by this bank. I am also having an account at HDFC bank. That bank is far far better than SBI.
I would like to share one horrible experience with all the viewers of my review. In Jan 2016, I visited to bank to make a draft of Rs 2000. For this the charge was Rs 35 only. I offered the clerk Rs 2050(Two thousand and fifty only). In reply, the idiot clerk told me to get the change of Rs 5 otherwise your draft cannot be processed. I said, no problem you can have my Rs 5 in your pocket. I dont mind. But you know what reply that fool clerk delivers, "I have to deposit the cash to the manager at the end of the day. He is not going to allow me with extra 5 bucks. I said, please get Rs 5 for me from your colleague. But again he denied to do so. He started shouting on me and telling go to shop and have some chips of Rs 5 and bring the change, otherwise get lost.
I would like to tell the SBI through mouthshut, that we all are human dear. Behave like a human. Money is not God but even not less than God. That doesnt mean you people are God or handling the God. Thank you
