We have heard lot about SBIs greatness!! Already I have written my previous story with it. Once again I came across with some other problems:
- For my august month's credit card bill, I had personally went & dropped the cheque. Now when I got my september's bill got shocked!! They had charged Rs.40 as cheque collection fee. This is suppose to be charged only if they only come & collect the cheque.
I wrote a mai lto customer care asking for a explination. After 3 days they replied back just saying they will credit the amount!! But they didn't bother to give any reason & not even asked sorry for the mistake they have done!!
- As per their terms, for purchase of every Rs.50, I am suppose to get 1 reward point. 2 months back, I shopped for around 20K. After getting the bill, I surprised to see they have credited only 50 points!! Upon enquiring with customer care, they made the correction after 1 week. Even in this case also, they didn't give any reason for their mistake!!
From these experiances, I have got the impression that they are trying to cheat customers by doing all such minor mistakes & correct it only for the customers who notice that & enquire. Being a nationalized bank, such cheap acts will make customers to loose hopes in all banks.
Initially I taught of returning my card. But now I have decided to go to consumer court & then return the card. If we leave them like that, they take every thing for granted.
