I was new... fresh....having money power...preferring multi national banks... and use to deal with them...and use to appreciate them a lot....
As a kid I was having the experience of the nationalized bank... where one has to get the coupon & use to wait for at least 30 - 45 min for any service....
Having this back ground in mind I kept my self away from all nationalized bank...My parents even though suffered a lot in these bank still used to deal with them...I just used to amazed what had hold them back to these banks...
My father had created the FD on my name... which was matured...& he wanted to transfer it to my account...So he insisted me to created the new account in the SBI branch... and he personally came with me..it was Vasant Vihar PPB branch in Thane...To my surprise staff was professional... and with out any huss & fuss new account got created in less than 30 min....
Received the ATM card with in 7 days...for ATM pin you need to visit the branch... for security reason...they don’t deliver it via post... And I started using the there services...they are having largest number of ATM its amazing... when going back to native place I stopped carrying cash....because I know there branches are every where...ATM come debit card is too good... while shopping also after swapping the card you need to entr the pin... so guys even if your card is LOST just don’t worry about any one misusing it like of ICICI banks... its secure...
After using there services for more than 5 years I fill the need to net banking...and too my surprised it was done in one visit to bank & with in 10 min...I got new pin... net banking account gets activated next day as promised.... so again I was impressed...During my last 6-7 years of court ship with the bank....I was really impressed with them....You fill secured with them...that’s may be the reason My parents is dealing with them because they don’t want to play with there hard earned money...You can count on them...thats for sure...
