State bank of india is started in 1806. Its first name was Bank of Calcutta. In 1921 the name was changed to Imperial bank of India finally in 1955 the bank got its final name State Bank Of India. Today in 2016 SBI has lots of brances in all over India, but the condition of its services is not equal everywhere. The bank has started several new services like E-Corners. E-Corners are situated everywhere in India, this facility is very helpful because now you dont have to go to bank to deposit or withdrawal. These E-corners are open 24-7. State bank of india is a nationalize bank that's why in many city many braches are not working well, long deposit lines slow working officials and all. There are thousands of ATMs of SBI in India, When you go to these ATMs you got to know there is not enough cash. SBI has also started a KIOSK Service by which you can update your passbook without goin bank, but many times the server is not found its also a big drawback here. Many times I deposite the money in E-Corners but I dont get the printed receipt. These are some good and bad things about State bank of india.
