Way back in 2003 I had an SBI Savings Account and it was very tedious process to access account, as I had to person visit the bank and do the transaction. I felt this is not going to help me and closed SBI account and I moved to a private bank for saving account, almost after 8 years I again planned to open a savings account with SBI as over the years they have drastically changed and their customer reach is far ahead than any private bank in india.
So to open an account I visited SBI, Sultanpalya bangalore. I was surprised with their response and promptness, I had not only opened an account the same day(with debit card) but also got netbanking access within 24 hrs of opening the account. What I also love is they netbanking portal, which is fast and easy to access and on every transaction or change I receive sms, wow. Never expected this from SBI, but its true, they are way ahead my expectations.
My experience is only related with account opening and their netbanking facilities, as these services fulfill my banking needs.
