Hi this is yogesh,
I want to expose and share true experience of state bank of india even I am experiencing currently no daubt.
I am customer of State Bank of India since 2013. The banking was good at the starting, gradually they intended new rules, increased their rates and many more.
I did not activate mobile banking rather I have activated internet banking, to do that I was in branch of narendra nagar branch for account opening, inside the branch many staffs are there for various operations of bank, one of them, I asked her, is there any need to apply for ATM?. she replied Yes!.she doesn't know there is no need to do that, it is already provided by bank .such employees you can find in many places.
ATM availability is average I didnt find more sbi ATM near me, bank have to see this issue very carefully, sometimes I found ATM maintenance are very poor. Doors are broken, ACs are in off conditions, they do not maintain it, they dont do their work as per guidelines, need to improve the ATM service, despite availability of ATM, there should some capital so that we can do transaction easily. I returned from the ATM with blank hands because of insufficient money in an ATM.
Overall very few state bank of india ATMs are there.
Just I was told, I have activated internet banking, this service so fast and easy, I have allotted an user name and password to access net banking, the site of banking is soo awesome. regular maintenance of site, updations, they do on it frequently, they deduct Rs. for online banking transaction. excellent serivce.
State bank of India value their customers by giving fabulous service, but One day I had deposited cheque of Rs.15000, I was entered a wrong account number on cheque slip, so their duty was to inform me about that, but they didn't. After 5 to 6 days I visited my bank and asked, thereafter they told me an issue. This is an unofficial, you need to convey you customer.
This was my real experience of State bank of India. hope you will get and overview.
