I kept on hearing from my parents that SBI is a real good bank. I was in this illusion till I applied for a Home Loan. Onthe eve of the purchase of my second apartment, I approached SBI for Home Loan and very soon realized what blunder I had made.For my first apartment I had taken a loan from IDBI and it was hassle free.
SBI made me suffer so much that finally I took the pain to create an account in mouthshut.com and to write are view to make everyone aware(by the way this is my first online review). Majority of people working in SBI and RACPCcan be termed as MISCREANT.I fail to understand how their soul agrees not to work and take salary every month. I PLEDGE you not to make any business relationship with SBI. If in case you think of approaching them for Home Loan be prepared for the following:
False promises
Unrealistic delays
Heights of bureaucracy and mismanagement
All possible chances of your files getting misplaced/lost. By the way anyone can enter RACPC and flick a file.
5.Blunders like inclusion of their other products inspite of not asking for it
New form of bribe - Notary charges Rs. 100/- to be paid to ackerk(ofcourse you don't get a receipt)
Your a/c gets automatically debited before even the first disbursement happens
Your a/c gets debited twice for the same EMI in the same month
Many more. dare to experience it yourself
