The review posted by se 224141 is totally personal. I have been using the service of SBI Frankfurt Branch for the last six years towards remittances and the service hsd been excellent through out. The IBAN code that has been furnished is perfectly fine for remittances to India. You call the Branch and friendly reply is expected. do not be misguided by se 224141 review. It seems that some people are only interested in crtising rather doing something meaninful. My association has been so meaningful with this bank that I hardly find any flaws with it.
As far as posting of officials with low calibre is concerned se 224141 is again mistaken. I doubt his calibre of getting things done in proper manner. You will come across certain individuals who are never happy with themselves and keeps on harping on one or the other issue. I would request him not to use sbis product if he is so unhappy. there are 1000 of banks available doing the same job, why cant he approach them for service. I would advise people to use the service and then rate the organisation, which has been in existence for more than 200 years. Private sector banks are not trustworthy at all . I have suffered on a number of occassions and have stopped banking with them. If you talk of icici bank they are the lousiest of all. They damn care about customer with limited resources. High end customers do get their attention but that is icici bank. as far as HDFC bank is concerned this is one of the better bank available for banking. even bank of baroda and canara bank are good. I have ben with them also for couple of years and the service has been satisfactory.
