I wish to draw the attention of senior officers of state bank of India towards working of M.L.N.R.E.C. branch of SBI, located in Teliyargang, Allahabad, UP where customers are treated very badly.I may quote my own incidence,
I happen to be a senior citizen & the bank offered a separate counter for senior citizens previously which was made accessible to females also, resulting in a massive crowd at this counter.About three months ago, Manager of the branch was approached with a request to arrange for token system so that senior citizens need not to stand in que & they may wait for their turn while sitting in the chairs.Manager listened to me & assured for the token system but nothing was done.
On 01.10.09 I visited the bank for some drawl but the senior citizen counter was overloaded while the general counters were relatively with only a few customers.Again, I met the manager & narrated the positions of the various counters & again reminded him for the token system, he asked me to join a que pertaining to general counter with less customer, hence, I joined a que of general counter & when my turn arrived, my cheque was cashed after I received a bitter & brutal dose from the counter man with a warning not to join the general que in future & adhere to senior citizen counter only. TO YE RAHI GRAHKO KE SEWA EK DAAT KE SAATH.
