I have my bank account in this bank since last 4 years almost and I must say this is the best bank under all others public sector banks. Its only public sector bank which gives somewhat competition to private banks like ICICI, HDFC, etc. I have not faced any issue till now.
You can avail a lot of features of this bank like phone banking, ATM services, Debit & Credit cards Internet banking, Different loans, Lockers at bank, and different types of accounts & deposits. Best thing you don't have to manage minimum amount in this bank.
Phone Banking: This banks provides phone banking features which is quite useful to check your balance, transfer money, pay different bills etc. The bank also provides its APPLICATION for iOS and android users which is secure & really useful. You can do almost everything without going to bank branch.
ATM Services: Bank provides different type of debit & credit cards. You can use this ATM for online purchases or offline payment. Its very easy to find ATMs almost every corner of india. So You don't have to worry about timing to withdraw money since atms are 24*7 open.
Internet Banking: For inetrnet banking, You have to fill up a form ans submit to the branch. In my case I had got my net banking ID & passwords within half hours. You can also request online for it and its easy process. You just have to visit branch for your password. Through internet banking you can do almost each & every banking related things. To know balance, Transfer money from one account to another, Different bill payments, Lock debit or credit card, its all you can do.
Offers: This Bank also provides offers time to time for online or offline payment. In that offer period either you can receive cash bank or instant discount. That's I love about SBI.
Self depositing Machine: Now just like ATMs, State bank have installed Self Depositing machines on different locations, And that is great move by the bank. Customer can deposit money to their account anytime without visiting bank.
Customer Service: One can find SBI customer service helpful, Either at branch or toll free numbers they have for any issue for customers and they help in every possible way.
