My comment reg. STAR WARS Episode III.........a long one the following is.... take time to read it would......
The last movie of the ''Star Wars'' saga.......Wow a fantastic one indeed ! Last but not the least of all the STAR WARS hexology this movie is !!! Which make it a very good movie there are many things in this
movie , viz.
1) The transformation of Anakin into Darth Vader ,
2) Spl. FX,
3) The plot of Chancellor to become the Emperor ,
4) General Grievious , the fiendish leader of the Droid army.
Shown in a superb manner by Lucas the battle of temptation of Anakin has been ! Many criticize Star Wars as a boring movie. But if keenly observed what the movie's all about, get to know the meaning behind
it they will - not one but 6 episodes show the contrast and the fight between the dark and light side of the force ! But , since watch this movie in a 70mm screen I did not , lose on the Spl-FX I had to . Massive the opening fight above Coruscant is - just how Phantom Menace begins - two Jedi Knights entering an alien ship and fighting the foes . Many excellent lightsaber fights and action scenes this movie has . A heroic character General Grievious also is ! The quadruple lightsaber fight between him and Kenobi - technically of good quality it is !!
Grievious : ''(to the droids......)Get back....I will deal with this Jedi slime myself!''
Kenobi : '' Your move !''
Grievious : ''Fool ! I hve been trained in your Jedi arts by Count Dooku ! I know how to deal with you ! Attack.... Kenobi !''
The scene in which the Chancellor Palpatine revealing unto Anakin that he's the Sith Lord - the best scene in this movie and the most unrevealing of all the hexology it is ! The battle of the Anakin with the temptation that he has for the dark side of the force - the highlight of the movie, it is !
Palpatine: ''Let me help you know the properties of the force....''
Anakin : ''Who taught you the ways of the force ?''
Palpatine: ''My mentor taught everything about the force - even the nature of the dark side !! ''
Anakin : '' What ? You know the dark side ?''
Palpatine : ''Anakin , if one has to know the complete properties of the force , he must know the vast nature of the dark side , not a narrow dormatic view of the Jedi!! Be careful of the Jedi , Anakin .....only thro' me can you achieve a power greater than any Jedi !! Learn to use the dark side of the Force and save tour wife Padme from certain death !
Anakin : '' What did you say? ''
Palpatine :Use my knowledge I beg you ........learn to use the dark side and you can save your wife Padme from certain death ''
Anakin : '' You'rere the Sith Lord !! ''
Palpatine : . Are you going to kill me? ''
Anakin : '' I would certainly love to ! ''
Palpatine: '' (Closing the eyes..) I know you would ,I can feel your anger.....it gives you focus , makes you stronger !! ''
Later........
Palpatine/ Sidious : '' Good! The force is strong ! A powerful Sith you will become !..........Henceforth you will be known as Darth
Vader (which means ''Dark Father'' in European languages) .
Anakin : '' Thank You .''
Palpatine : '' Lord Vader.......Rise !''
(After this , the famous 'Vader' theme by John Williams is Scored....really superb it is!)
Really 'feel' a ''force'' coming out of the screen and attacking me during the above dialogue I could ! For calling the Jedi strength a ''force'' .... accurate George Lucas is! Just how the serpent tempted lady Eve in the Garden of Eden Palpatine tempts Anakin! And the result..... obviously , to save Padme at any cost to the dark side succumbs Anakin !! Poor Anakin ! That the scene has been picturised excellently by George Lucas admit must I! To the Sith in Episode III although succumbs Anakin , who fulfills the prophecy by destroying the Sith in front of his son(Luke) and bringing the force to balance ( in Episode VI : Return Of the Jedi ) it is none other than him .Thus, in chosing Anakin as his Padawan in Episode I , right was Master Qui Gonn - that Anakin alone can bring balance to the force because he hopes. In this episode the lust for powers that Anakin has blinds his eyes so much that he attempts to kill his loved one , contradicting his own purpose for joining Sith ! Thus has it been beautifully defined how a Jedi is perfect when he's a Jedi and also how evil he becomes when he becomes a Sith ! In this aspect I would say Master Yoda and also Obi-Wan-Kenobi perfect Jedis they are . Too good Yoda's advices are .......
Yoda: Premonitions, premonitions. Hmmmm, these visions you have...
Anakin Skywalker: They are of pain, suffering, death...
Yoda: Yourself you speak of, or someone you know?
Anakin Skywalker: Someone...
Yoda: ?close to you?
Anakin Skywalker: Yes.
Yoda: Careful you must be when sensing the future, Anakin. The fear of loss is a path to the dark side.
Anakin Skywalker: I won't let these visions come true, Master Yoda.
Yoda: Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the Force. Mourn them, do not. Miss them, do not. Attachment leads to jealousy. The shadow of greed, that is.
Anakin Skywalker: What must I do, Master Yoda?
Yoda: Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.
But in STAR WARS things which I hate - there are a few....... for romance too much of credit is given by George Lucas . Also I did not understand how arranges Master Yoda a training under Master Qui Gonn for ObiWanKenobi (in the episodes IV , V and VI where is Qui Gonn?) Compared to Episode II , not so good this movie is, for like an normal English movie's , the action scenes are !! Apart from this , like a dramamade all the STARWARS movies are ....... (is that why it never makes it to the Oscars whereas it's rival Lord of the Rings sweeps all that it's nominated for ? But hey come on.....Peter Jackson made the story that Tolkien wrote as a movie.......but George wrote, produced and directed STARWARS....who's the better one ?) . Also criticize critics STARWARS for having poor dialogues . The THX + DOLBY +SDDS +dts format sound - I enjoyed it hmmmmmmm.........unrivalled . That STAR WARS will live on but off screen - sad am I ......... an unequal hexology this is ! A movie series as this one .. none has made !
