From the era of watching live matches on Doordarshan to Watching Highlights on Star Sports. Its been a huge leap over the years. Growing up as a Cricket player cum fan I wonder what life would have been without this channel. They have bought the telecast rights to stream all ICC matches. Earlier they had only two channels. Now the count stands on four.
Star sports 1, 2, 3 and 4. Apart from cricket they put live events of Football, kabbadi, formula 1, Hockey, Badminton, Tennis, Etc. They are the market leaders of sports entertainment in the Indian Subcontinent. And I think Tens-sports is it closest competitor but nowhere close to it. I proudly say its my Staple food for Sports Entertainment.
