My laptop was not working properly from last few months. I needed a 4GB RAM, as I had only 1 GB in my HP pavilion. Vista Home Basic was making it slow too. At first we went to HP service Centre,but the price range and the service was not satisfactory. Moreover they didn't have the stock,we had to wait for another week. Somewhere I saw an ad about Staples, "We repair computers". it was on my way,so thought of giving it a try.
I went to the store located in Kormangala on a Saturday evening. It was surprising to find the store almost empty. I wondered why there was very less customers,as all other shops were almost full,especially on Saturday evening. Computer hardware and repairing was done at the 1st level. When I reached the help desk and told them about the problem,the reception was prompt and professional. They explained well about the problem and the solution too. I got two 2GB RAMS at Rs. 3000 along with a free gift,a speaker worth Rs. 199! They sold me the RAM at some offer price,I can't remember properly what was that. But the service was very good. They installed the RAM at free of cost,that's another surprising thing! In this city does anybody touch your system without taking a hefty charge? I don't think so!!!!!!!!!
My system is almost 4 yrs old,in HP centre also they asked me to get a new one. I was thinking about it,as it was running too slow. But tech. staffs at Staples told me that my system is in perfect condition,only I need to install Windows XP instead of Vista Home Basic. Because of less memory space and that operating system only it became slow.........I came to know there. As the RAM installation was done,I checked my system.It was working far better. I thanked them profusely and decided,from now onward if I face any problem regarding my system,I am going to visit staples only. At list for computer servicing,they are quite good. I am satisfied with their work,would like to refer others as well.
