Update: Online card payment through other back is possible now.

"Super Value Titanium" as the name suggest is a truly supper value credit card card available in market. Before going for this card, I was user of couple of other card but one fine day I received a call from Standard Chartered executive offering a free for life(though it's annual fee is INR 750) & hence I accepted the membership of this card & since then(last 2 years) I am using this as my primary cards for all my needs. This card has unique feature which no other free for life card offers 5% cash back on telecom(I have both Airtel as well Vodafone & I get cash back on both), both mobile & landlines, 5% cash back on fuel(2.5% surcharge+ 2.5% cash back) & 1% cash back on all other transaction above 1000.

Lately, from last month, they have changed their cash back policy such that to avail 5%(telecom & fuel) cash back the minimum transaction has to be INR 500 & the max cash back per transaction reduced to INR 150 to it's original INR 250.

Because of this unwelcome change, it's very unlikely that I can continue using this card for 5% cash back as I use 3 phones & the individual monthly bill will will come closer to 500 but will rarely cross INR 500. Moreover I drive a 2 wheeler & the tank is not big enough to accommodate petrol of INR 500 at one shot.

After this I am thinking of switching to other card as my primary card; moreover the main problem with Standard Chartered card is; you can not make online card payment through other back & you need to keep searching for drop boxes(I was happily undergoing that pain as I was getting 5% cash back).

For sure, I'll not cancel this card considering Standard Chartered's promt+ polite customer service(never ever faced any problem in last 2 years) & considering it's free for life(need to make at least 1 transaction in a calender year to avoid INR 250 as a fine); however I'll definitely shift to another card as a primary card to avoid keeping track of multiple credit accounts.

I'll definitely recommend this card to anybody who can have all their transactions above INR 500 to make sure this card acts as "Super Value"; practically & not just theoretically.
