CUSTOMER SERVICE - POOR, NO KNOWLEDGE, RUDE, THEY DISCONNECTED PHONE TWICE( by PRAKASH) & TRANSFERRED ONCE WITHOUT ASKING ME( by PRABHU)
Beat this. You pay on time & it is reflected in your statement that bank received it on that day, Customer care tells you that 1 day delay is reflecting in their system that is why you have been charged some money but since delay was only for a day we have not charged late fee. I challenged them it is system generated and you are making a story because you could not explain this illegal charges: -o he replied OK Sir this is OUR fault & I will ask bank to charge you late fee also .
Such pathetic service, I felt like I was banging head on a wall. Customer service staff was rude, they argued with me over something unrelated, they alleged me that I was not talking nicely n showed me attitude.Kept on saying because you were rude because U said in this tone I m disconnecting the call. he had no answers and wanted to avoid further discussions.
BAD credit card - they offered me 5% cash back max up to 500 / mo. which after a month or two was lowered to 150 / mo . HA HA
And Suddenly from last two statements they have been putting 2 lines at end - "THE NEW RETAIL INTEREST RATE APPLICABLE ON YOUR CREDIT CARD
FROM THE NEXT BILLING CYCLE IS 3.49% P.M.( APR OF 41.88%)"
Surprisingly 1st time it was reflecting lower than the actual & 2nd time they increased it.
Please save yourself some time n from harassment, go with more mature credit card products. NEVER fall for Standard Chartered.
