I got my (Nepal) Standard Chartered's Silver Visa in June 2002. Then I was told that the interest will be charged on the amount only after the due date. Which means that if I buy a product on 4th of a month and the due date is 20th then the interest will be charged only from 20th of that month. But NOh.. that is not exactly what has been happening.The interests is charged from the day I purchase. When I asked the employees they have no reply for that and try to avoid that question altogether.
It surely has the benefits as ATM access thru the card and discounts in some retailers but the interest is too high.
It is difficult to make the payments as well since the lines are always too long. They really shd do something abt it otherwise it will be losing its most of its customers.
