I am holding Stan Chat Titanium credit card from more than 3 years. One will be attracted due to their very good offering of 5 percent cash back on fuel and utility bill provided you do transaction for more than Rs. 500. But other side it has got lot many hidden things. First thing, you are shown obligation they are giving 5 percent cash back.Secondly, they charge double service tax on the same fuel transaction.
Not sure if as per Govt. rule you are suppose to pay one time service tax then why this only bank charges double service tax and shows an obligation that they reverse one of the service tax. But no justification for double service tax. Also when you approach their customer service they are very dumb and immature and also talk very rough.
If you escalate this to their top management Ms. Madhura Sengupta and Mr. Sandeep Das - they are also insensible and careless in listening to customer concern. I would suggest to be careful with such fraud bank with inefficient people.
