Few days ago I read about Standard Chartered bank on your site and I realized that my dad too held one so I asked him about it and he holds it no more. He has cut the card into pieces and has thrown it in the GUTTER. I asked him why he said it belongs to be in the Gutter.
Then I probed him further and he told me why. StanChart was something good I thought because the Mumbai Marathon brings so many people together but then one right can't fix so many wrongs they do to people.
So the story goes this way my dad has a Stanchart for like forever as far as I can remember. He was a Platinum card holder when he threw it in the Gutter.
The wrong started to happen the day we called them to redeem our points we applied five times still we never got our gift. Then I spoke to there Customer Executive he was rude to the core and told me to throw away if you don't get your redeemable points gift.
Second they send you bills after due date so you faulter on your payment and icing on the cake is when you are done with all the credits due they will send you a bill which is of course after the due date and ask you to pay this 200 or 300 and they add the late fee to it and failing that your card will be suspended
The good thing is that m dad has suspended them from been my Dad's card. Trust of so many years gone down the drain.
Shame on you Stanchart SHAME ON YOU.
