Here's my opinion about SCB CC-

Its really an irony to see the bank calling a customer and offering a variety of options and products when the customer decide to terminate his account. This is just what happened to me. I'd been with SCB and had been holding a credit card for the last 3+ years and though I had some bad experience earlier, I decided to continue with till recently. Earlier I was addressed by a branch manager or an in-charge who was able to convenience me. Considering this, I continued another year. My experience with your bank was getting worse day by day and I even called in one day to tell this to an exec there and his response was ''first, clear your dues and then call us back with this'' which was really shocking to hear. Then I had a lot of problem with the monthly statements, which never got delivered to my house correctly. I had to update my same address with SCB 14 times with SCB in a span of 2 months. Anyway I cleared the dues decided to quit, thats when I asked for a call from the customer service head who, called me. I was told and offered with a lot of ''stuffs'' during our conversation.

Why do they to do this now? I was with SCB for over 3 years and not a single month did I default the payment. Frankly telling I was impressed with your service when I took you account, infact I'd told a lot of people to try SCB when Citibank was leading. All this ended in one year. Their services started to degrade after a year with SCB. Even now when I wanted to redeem my points, I realized that the products that were available in the booklet they provided initially was no more available. I spoke to an exec again and his response was “we change products displayed on the Reward point program according to the availability and we cannot update or call up all customer until they request for an update”. This was like cheating public and I wouldn't have done so many purchases if I'd know that the initial products displayed are no more available. Anyway now that I'm no more associated with your bank or services, I hope to have a much relaxed mind.

I know this message would not mean anything to SCb and would be in deleted items very soon it reaches there. I have over 2300 point and would like to redeem them. Kindly let me know what I should do.

The response to the above mail was ''pay and clear your dues which is Rs.300''. I still haven't got my monthly statement for this amount and the only thing SCB would think of is how much money they can grab!!
