Hello everyone,
I would like share my personal experience a very bitter one. I used to come to st johns for monthly check up. The present HOD of gynecology and obstetrics dept Dr. Annama Thomas is a worst lady. Starting everyone referred her and I believed in her. Though I used to take special appointment and wait for hours, this female hardly used to check properly. There is no special concern for special appointment, it is the same as general.
I had already crossed my due date and I wasn't getting any pain then almost for one and half day I was given injection for pain, though I had pleaded her for c-section she insisted for normal delivery. By then my baby had passed stool in the womb itself and he had swallowed some. This can result in severe respiratory problems, poor growth, developmental problems, seizures and even mental retardation in future. My baby was continuously monitored in NICU for more than 2 weeks, he was going through hell lot of check up and painful procedures.
Just because of one person's negligence your baby's future itself can become a big question mark. She insists for normal delivery, delays the procedure and finally she does a c-section, thereby many babies get admitted to NICU with any of the above problems.
This incident has happened with many mothers over there, so I kindly request you not to refer this lady.
